Staff on reception were lovely. Very helpful in assisting us with all our questions. The rooms were spotless and beds comfortable. Parking at property was fully booked but there was an easy parking option around the corner which was very close to the hotel which was free from 7pm until 9am. There was a little shop 20m from the hotel entrance which was very convenient. It was a short walking distance to the centre of the village. Breakfast was good not a lot of options but typical for France.

Staff were great, returned sunglasses which I left in reception (Morgane brilliant at keeeping me informed) by post back to UK. Breakfast was great lots of choice, fresh pastries, eggs, cured meat & cheese. Building has very intersting architecture, location perfect for local restuarants, good bar service at reception, room clean & tidy. Parked right outside reception, would recommend booking inadvance as slightly limited. Perfect one night stop off on the way to the Alps. Would recommend a more than one night stay, we will use again! Excellent value!

The hotel is gorgeous. The interior decoration is particularly successful. The person who welcomed us on Saturday night was quite possibly the nicest front desk person I have seen in my many years of traveling. The room was great: comfortable beds and great pillows. Large bathroom with towel radiator. Large shower. The skylight was great for fresh air. The breakfast was excellent, both in variety and quality, and served in a gorgeous vaulted room with old fashioned electric lines on the ceiling. Being able to park in the courtyard was convenient. We were even able to recharge our electric car. The old center is within a few minutes walk.

Excellent breakfast choice in a lovely large restaurant and easy walking distance to restaurants in the evening. The location to walk into the old town and up to the Citadelle is perfect and the ability to pre book a car parking space was great.

We liked very much the breakfast buffet offering a big choice. The hotel location is very good, very quiet but quite central. You do not need to take the car afterwards to visit everything in Besançon. We reserved a parking place for our car in the hotel, which was very convenient, as there are not too many parking places available in the surrounding.

The room was small, but comfortable. The bathroom was OK but the shower leaked on the floor as the door didn’t close properly, making it slippery to get out. The position was good close to the citadel and the centre-ville. Parking was good, and the downstairs breakfast and relaxation area were fun.

All the staff were really lovely especially the lady who checked us in. There had been a mix up with the on site parking we had booked, however she sorted it straight away and we were in our room in no time. Great location for town with a good choice of bars and restaurants and easy walking distance from the Citadelle. We were only there for 1 night/day but would definitely stay again.

It was a very hot day, 40 deg C, and the receptionist straight away showed us the cold water machine to enable us to fill up our water bottles.

Nice location in a quieter part of town, but still close t everything. Room was spacious and felt homely.
